Night City Endless Drive

Night City Endless Drive is a car simulation game. It is designed for Android. The sole purpose is to drive and relax on the long roads of the Night City. Sit back and relax, we have a long way to go.

What I learned while working on this project:

Unity Optimization Technique - Batching

Since my old phone fell into water and broke down, I bought a new temporary phone with a lower segment. The system features of this phone were not that good, but I still wanted to get the best performance possible from my project.

So I did some research about optimization techniques in unity and came across the term batching. With this batching, I have achieved great increases in performance by reducing the number of draw calls in my unity scene.

Lightmaps

Throughout the project, I played with light sources for a long time and tried to create a nice atmosphere, I think I got a good experience even though there are no lightmaps in the last version of the game. (I couldn't add lightmaps in the last version because my road objects are not static.)
